Burglary at hairdressers in Thurmaston

Police officers are appealing for information after a burglary at a hairdressers in Thurmaston.

The incident happened sometime between 1pm on Saturday January 10 and 8.55am on Tuesday January 13, 2009 when Foxon and Marsh Hairdressers on Melton Road was broken into.

A search of the premises was made and a quantity of cash and hairdressing and beauty products were stolen.

 PC Paul Anderson, who is investigating this incident, said "We would appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Melton Road area near to the premises between Saturday January 10 and Tuesday January 13, 2009 to get in touch.

"We would like to appeal to anyone who is approached by someone selling hair or beaunty products in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.

"If you have any information regarding this burglary or the people responsible, please contact the police as soon as possible."
