Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old girl was spoken to inappropriately on Melton Road in Thurmaston.
This incident happened between 5pm and 5.15pm on Wednesday October 22 as the victim walked past the Harrow pub towards Thurmaston Working Men's Club.
The suspect drove down Melton Road and stopped at the car park on Brook Street where he shouted to her out the window of his car.
The suspect is described as white, in his mid-twenties, of average build with light brown wavy hair. He was driving a green two door sports type vehicle. The suspect was then seen driving on to Forest Drive.
PC 1980 Andy Johnson, who has been investigating this incident, said: "I would like to speak to anybody who has any information regarding this incident.
"In particular I would be keen to speak to a man and a young girl that were walking in the same direction as the victim as the suspect drove off.
"Cast your mind back, did you notice this vehicle in the area? Maybe you have seen this vehicle before or have seen somebody matching this description acting suspiciously?
"If you know anything that could be connected to this incident then please contact the police."
